Your visit to Southport Pleasureland
We have implemented a series of measures to ensure everyone can have a safe and enjoyable visit to our park. Here’s what you need to know:
Before you leave home
Our day passes offer you great value and Unlimited rides!
Book with Confidence! If the park has to close because of local or national restrictions, you can choose another date to visit.
- All guests need to book online in advance of their visit. You will receive an email with your booking confirmation – please bring this with you on the day (you do not need to print the email, we can scan your phone).
- Bring a credit or debit card so that you can pay for any ancilliary items in the park by contactless card wherever possible.
- Some of our rides require you to wear a face covering. We also recommend that you wear one during your time in the park. Face coverings will be available to buy at Pleasureland if you do not have your own.
- Please ensure you check our website and social channels before you set off to ensure you have the very latest information.
- If you, or anyone in your party, is displaying any symptoms or are feeling unwell please stay at home. Our staff will be doing likewise.
What we're doing to protect guests and staff
- To enable social distancing within the park we have capped the number of guests allowed on a daily basis to ensure that everyone has a safe and enjoyable day out.
- We’ve installed additional hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the park so that guests can clean their hands regularly during their visit.
- Our enhanced measures include even more frequent cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces including on rides, communal areas and in queue lines. Each ride will be closed for 30minutes during the day (on a rota basis) to enable us to perform the deep clean.
- You will see our staff wearing protective clothing. This is to keep both them and you safe. They have all received additional training in preparation for reopening and are there to help ensure you have a safe and fun day with us so please listen to any instructions they give you.
- We have installed protective screens at some of our service counters to help maintain distance between guests and staff.
What you'll see when you arrive
- Signage with clear guidance around the park to make sure you have a safe and enjoyable day with us. Our team of trained staff are also there to help. Please follow any advice they give you, as they are there primarily for your safety.
- We have introduced social distancing measures throughout the park. Please strictly observe these guidelines and follow the advice of our team at all times.
- To enable social distancing on rides, we will seat you with your family group and ensure empty seats or rows between you and other groups. Each ride is different so please follow the instructions given to you by our ride operators.
- Our cafes and takeaway units will be open with queue markers to help with social distancing. Outdoor seating areas have been further spaced out. Don’t forget, at Pleasureland you are welcome to bring your own picnic if you prefer.
- Some of our attractions and experiences have been altered or temporarily suspended to ensure social distancing is maintained. Please ensure you check our website for the latest information.
- Well behaved dogs on leads are always welcome at Pleasureland. There are water bowls around the park. Please ensure you clean up after your dog.
