Frequently asked questions

  • What is Southport Pleasureland?

Known locally as "Southport fair" or "Southport funfair", Pleasureland has grown to become one of the best small family amusement parks in Great Britain.

When you visit us, you can expect hours of family fun across four magical themed lands: Cartoon Boardwalk, Pirate Cove, Steampunk Bay and Viking Landing.

  • How much is Southport Pleasureland?

Southport Pleasureland prices vary, so please refer to our booking page for up-to-date details.

Remember that it's ALWAYS cheaper to book online – and the more tickets you book, the cheaper it gets!

  • Are dogs allowed?

Yes – we're one of the few dog-friendly theme parks in the UK. We welcome well-behaved dogs but ask that they're kept on leads at all times.

  • Can I bring a packed lunch?

Absolutely. We've cooked up some fantastic food and drink options – but if you'd prefer to pack your own, that's fine. You'll find lots of picnic tables where you can enjoy your sandwiches and snacks.

The only restriction is on alcohol. You can only consume alcoholic drinks that you've purchased in our Southport amusement park.

  • Do I need to buy a wristband?

No. We're keeping things simple so you can focus on the fun. Just buy your ticket online and enjoy unlimited access to dozens of exciting rides. No wristband required.

  • What happened to free entry?

We believe that our simple ticketing system delivers the best possible value and the least fuss for everyone. It's like an all-you-can-eat buffet: for one low entry price, you can enjoy as many rides as you want – all day long.

  • Do you offer group discounts?

We sure do! Check our booking page to see how much you could save.

  • Do you offer fast passes?

Pleasureland is a small, friendly family amusement park – so queues are rarely a problem here. That's why we don't offer fast passes. It keeps things simple and fair for all our visitors.

You may have to queue for a short time if a ride is especially popular. If you'd rather not queue, we recommend that you visit the most popular rides at quieter times. This tends to be right after the gates open or towards the end of the day.

If you have trouble queueing, you can ask one of your group to keep your place in the queue while you take a seat nearby. Our ride operators are used to this and will let you rejoin the queue when you're ready.

  • What's the minimum age for entry?

We welcome fun-seekers of all ages – but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

  • I have a problem with my booking. What shall I do?

If you want to make changes to your booking or you haven't received your confirmation email, please contact us at hello@southportpleasureland.com. For modifications to existing bookings, please ensure you email us BEFORE your day of arrival.

  • What happens if it's raining on the day?

We don't usually let rain stop the fun – but in extreme weather conditions, we may have to close the park. See our rain check policy for full details.

Please note that we don't offer refunds for non-attendance.

  • Can I park my car at Pleasureland?

Yes. We have two large car parks on site. Here's where to find them.

  • Is Southport Pleasureland accessible?

We welcome everyone at Southport Pleasureland and endeavour to make our park as accessible as possible for neurodivergent people and those with disabilities. Check our accessibility info to learn more.

  • Am I allowed to film in the park and on the rides?

Not without permission. Please email park management at hello@southportpleasureland.com before your day of arrival with details of what you intend to film and why.

We reserve the right to refuse permission for any filming and photography in the park. The site is private property, not public land.

  • How do I make a complaint?

We aim to be the happiest family theme park in England. So if anything happens during your visit that you're not happy about, please let a member of staff know as soon as possible. This is really important – we won't be able to resolve issues unless they're brought to our attention on the day.
